About Me
I am an experienced healthcare chaplain who has accompanied others through a variety of experiences including childbirth, addiction, critical illness, and the end-of-life.
In my spiritual direction practice, I create an intentional space of pause and contemplation for people who are seeking to deepen and broaden their connection to the Divine.
I also lead workshops for those seeking to attain more interior freedom and access to the True Self.
Grounded in the Benedictine values of humility and hospitality, I welcome partnerships with people of any (or no) faith tradition.
Nurture others as they discover the movement of the Spirit within their own lives.
Provide a non-judgmental space for each person's individual experience.
Draw on my own experience with trauma and addiction.
Welcome each person with tenderness, dignity, and respect.
My preparation for ministry includes four units of Clinical Pastoral Education, a certificate in Hispanic ministry, a Graduate Certificate in Spiritual Direction, a certificate in Mental Health First Aid, and a Master of Divinity from Saint John's School of Theology and Seminary.
As an Oblate of Saint Benedict, I engage in regular practices of Benedictine spirituality while uniting with professed monastics in ongoing formation.
As a member of Spiritual Directors International, I attend spiritual direction myself. I also receive direct supervision by peers and teachers.
I am a lifelong learner interested in art, history, and social justice. I am also a published author.
