Spiritual Direction
Spiritual direction is the ancient practice of regularly setting aside time to listen to what is stirring within, recognize such stirring as God's personal communication.
In our time together, you are encouraged to respond to this personal communication and to grow in intimacy with God.
You can expect a non-judgmental, contemplative atmosphere in which to explore your whole being.
Our conversations will be supportive of your personal journey, with attention to the details of your unique spiritual experience.
In spiritual direction, I seek to guide you towards authenticity in your life, and to inspire you to connect with God.
The Contemplative Tradition
I am a student of the early Christian Contemplative tradition, which began with the Desert Mothers and Fathers.
This means that our meetings will have a relaxed, calm feeling, and silence will be understood as a spiritual practice.
I will invite you to explore ideas more deeply, consider another perspective, or encounter a truth within yourself.
